Bit of a blokes boozer but still enjoyed our mini visit here. Good pint of ale for a reasonable price. It was lovely to sit in front of the wood burner to kick off the days session! 8/10 montie49 - 27 Nov 2016 12:21 |
Managed to find time to call in for a quick pint of Otter something or other, which was very good. Good atmosphere too. 8/10 ben23699 - 20 Jul 2015 20:59 |
Seemingly Lyme’s best boozer for ale and the selection was exemplary while the feel is very much that of a local – it’s on the main road but far enough up the hill to deter passing foot traffic. A darts match was in full swing while we supped and a couple of canines proved to be affable company. Personally, I’d prefer slightly less of the Help for Heroes hard sell though. this is a lovely little boozer & the cheapest place to drink in Lyme regis. very much a locals pub maybe a little to far up the hill for tourists to find. great selection of ales and bar snacks but unfortuenately does not serve food. Live music is preformed most saturday nights, great pub keep up the hard work! mai86 - 17 Feb 2012 12:38 |
A pretty straightforward pub but with excellent ale and a good local crowd. My memory of what ales were on is a little hazy but I do recall them as being mostly local and in excellent condition. Campanologist - 18 Jul 2011 14:34 |
