| Obviously the latest reviewers had had a bad day at the office as I have not encountered or had a single bad experience in this pub. May be it's best they do stay away or they could make the rest of the customers miserable. It is an old fashioned regulars pub like we had in the old days before the massive pub chains killed off the local pubs. Family run, clean, friendly pub with atmosphere to match. | A grimy run down pub with a clientele to match. The landlady seemed okay but the occupants where chain-smoking loudmouths spending most of their time shouting and swearing at one another. | Under new management , about time . The landlady is hard working and friendly , landlord is there every weekend as he works during the week ,he is also freindly . Don't do food yet but have great bar snaks Friday nights and Sunday afternoons . The atmosphere is fun and the beer is great . I think they are getting sky in July or August ready for the new football season . Come on summer as the beer garden is lovely and has an outside bottle bar with BBQ . | Recently return to my local pub as it was undernew management - the place was great friendly buzzing atmosphere! Will be going a lot more often now! Altough it does not do food it is very friendly and seems familys are welcome! it has a lovely garden with a bbq outside! i hope they use this is the summer months!!!
