user reviews of Locomotion Number One, Heighington

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Unfortunately there was no chance of a suntrap during our visit. We were glad to get inside and out of the rain. The interior feels fairly warm and the locals appeared friendly. The cask beer section was none too overwhelming with Old Speckled Hen and Deuchars IPA. Situated right next to the railway station, if you hadn't guessed.

Another enjoyable visit and the Wells Bombardier was in good condition. Suntrap still very much enjoyed too.

Just visited at lunchtime after doing Shildon Museum with a party of six. Good real beer, splendid real grub - lady on the bar and the man with the food could not have been better. Thoroughly recommended.

Came on the train to find this Good Beer Guide pub, and was not disappointed with the beers offered. It was very pleasant in the outside suntrap.

I must admit to being rather surprised. Nice Place, good decor, GREAT BEERS!!

I had Adnams Regatta which went down very very well, but moreover was the rather excellent Fillet Steak I enjoyed tonight. Perfectly cooked and a very decent bit of cow.

Real chips too, which were accompanied by real onion rings and real veg and real well you get the picture. It was all traditional but all fresh. nothing frozen here.

but those beers man.
