Went once, but very easy to forget. Boho - 9 Apr 2012 12:46 |
As has been said a very boring unimaginative choice of real ales. One real cider Black rat. Staff efficient. Ok but certainly would not be my first port of call in this area. Cliftonclive - 6 May 2011 08:57 |
Proper pub, watched the rugby here last two weekends - great atmosphere. Excellent pint of Doombar, three other real ales on tap and a few ciders. Very busy but good friendly service, didn't have to wait and got a smile from the staff every time! will50jj - 14 Feb 2011 13:07 |

Found this after walking the gorge and climbing up to the Clifton suspension bridge - so very thirsty. We had the Butcombe which was on form, and a very tasty goat's cheese and mushroom sandwich, which I thought was good value. Rest of the menu looked interesting too. Otherwise, decor and beer selection not very inspiring. JBGatelad - 26 Apr 2010 20:46 |
