| I never knew this pub before it was refurbished so cannot pass comment on its previous reputation. What I can say is that the Landlady, staff and locals are all very friendly and there's a great atmosphere in there. The food is very good and the restaurant decor is tasteful. As the previous review says, the bad comments are probably made by one of the plonkers that may have frequented in the past. Give it a visit, you'll be glad you did! jagman - 9 Sep 2008 19:54 |
| i have eaten and had drinks in this pub and for the last 3 months have seen nothing but improvements, the decor is good, the staff are friendly and the other patrons are nothing but polite, the person that has written the rotten comment is obviously one of the people that has been barred from using the premises any longer!!! i would recommend you giving it a go and make up your own minds about it, i took my mother and several members of my family there for mother's day and we had a really nice time, denham - 9 Mar 2008 23:48 |
