| A lovely little pub, very friendly complete with a very charming and helpful manager who really seemed to want us to enjoy ourselves. I went there as part of a group complete with baby, (no baby changing facility but hey ho, guess it is a pub after all!! )We all had dinner which was gorgeous, generous portions, hot & tasty and we stayed for the open mic which is like no other mic I've ever been to in my many years of frequent attendance at many pubs in town. Hilarious!! great characters, everybody really friendly and ran by Tom who plays along on his guitar whilst people sing, my husband took the baby home & i stayed and was persuaded to get up & sing a tune, such a lovely evening, my friends & i agreed we will all go back very soon.
