| Final stop of the night for me in Idle was the Highfield. This was where we were staying. I didn't think it was listed on the site, but eventually found it! There were quite a few youngsters in on my late Saturday evening visit. It's a large pub with a couple of rooms. The house real ale is Naylor's Highfield Blonde. | this venue re-opened in May 2010 as 'THE HIGHFIELD' great place, family friendly, great menu, lovely staff, regular live entertainment, karaoke, quizzes etc also have a private function room for parties joined on to a hotel they are re-opening the American style diner and leisure facilities soon thehighfield - 3 Nov 2011 11:27 |
