Quite a few changes here recently. Very large signs proclaiming the pub to be 'under new management'. The carpet and curtains have been replaced (not before time) and there was a guest beer (Banks's Sunbeam) to supplement the ever-present Ringwood. A much needed improvement. beerpilgrim - 1 May 2012 00:02 |

Yes very down to earth local, Ringwood bitter was the only offering but in good nick, very much a locals pub, plenty of colourful language but not unfriendly. Worth popping in if waiting for a train, 5 mins walk from station. Hodge1 - 16 Dec 2011 20:10 |
An interesting local with characterful customers, and plenty of salty language. I hadn't been here for a while, but will probably return. The Ringwood was well kept and reasonably priced, and a board said Brakspear's was now available, but not on my visit. Perhaps I have found my temporary local, until the Great Western reopens (if it ever does). beerpilgrim - 19 Oct 2011 23:21 |
Quite friendly basic local with a lady running it well from what I could see. Very busy the night we were there with skittlers and darts. Two types of mild available which were very good. Driver67 - 24 May 2011 13:24 |
