By Henry's IPA was very badly kept and the bar girl didn't understand when I asked for another one. The beer reflected the place, not particularly nice. Very Trowbridge indeed. Pubwatchman - 13 Jun 2011 13:09 |
Things have not improved, or have slipped back again since 'Spooley's' comment of August 2008. On friday 15th April the 6X was like vinegar ! Raimundo - 22 Apr 2011 15:54 |
A Wadworth owned pub with sadly 6X and nothing else on draught @ 2.80pint,Ok but nothing to write home about,6/10 fat_beer_badger - 10 Sep 2008 21:52 |
Interior refurbished in the last year or so and now serves good snack lunches (burgers, open sandwiches) at reasonable prices to council and other office workers at lunchtimes. Usually pretty quiet early evenings when the office workers have gone home. Sadly the beer (Wadworths) is usually *dire*: very poorly kept and uncared-for ... after 2 years of having to take back pints, I have finally vowed to stick to the keg cider in future. spooley - 18 Aug 2008 18:02 |
nice clean interior, smashed up toilets, good real ale, although had to wait a longtime to be served as the scottish landlord was watching celtic v rangers on sky which seemed to come first. clangersmate - 2 May 2008 15:06 |
