| Dropped in for lunch while on holiday last summer (2011) (bit late to do this but oh well!) It was a beautiful day and me and mum sat outside and had a wondeful meal. | I've known this pub for over 30 years, and though it's had its ups and downs, it has always been one of the most reliable places to drink and eat neat Wedmore. The current phase looks like an improvement, with good beers from Palmer and Cheddar, and sound food at reasonable prices. | This place was having a rather ornate patio/decking area installed on my visit.Never the less.the young German hostess was ultimate in service and teutonic effiency.The meal was very good and well presented,I only had a lite bite,and were amply satiated.What must the main meal be like.Definitely be returning at somepoint to this eatery. westhead - 28 Mar 2007 14:19 |
