Was sold a year or so ago,and has had a slow painfull death. Its been shut for a while now and will end up as flats i would expect.Bill the former owner now has a new place in moville co.donegal.Shame, but another one bites the dust princessanne - 1 May 2009 16:23 |
when i asked my husband to take me to one of the worst pubs in carrick he took me here. Spit and sawdust. Made me smile that they could only provide half pint glass for wine - not that no glasses weren't clean just didnt have any need for any (perchance i am a posh bird for drinking wine from a wine glass). We went at christmas and laughed the whole night and amazingly managed to escape with no injuries. Dont go ladies and gents unless for a one off to see how the other side live glodwock - 13 Mar 2008 00:39 |
My local ,and has been for years a great pub all welcome here. The staff are good and always willing to help and have a joke.It must be the cheapest pub in carrick,if you have never been in give it a try. princessanne - 21 Jun 2007 18:20 |
very intimidating pub,the older bar staff were great in serving you.the younger staff seem to spend more time looking to see what men they can take home with them.very small pub, which is very claustraphobic when it is busy. anonymous - 25 Oct 2005 12:50 |
