The Chimney Boy is now called The Limes and it is the kind of polished bar you would take the missus to for her birthday or suggest she take her friends to for a girls night out. Not a bad place by any means but more of a bar than a pub. paddy_wax - 18 Apr 2016 12:04 |
It's a shame when people fail. But good luck to them in the future. New people going in and experience a plenty. Well we shall see. Will do good food that goes without saying. But what a job they have in front of them and having to sell Sheps everything and deal with the clientele that currently resides!!! Good luck with that!!!!! Seriously, The Chimney needs sweeping!!! The only pub we found in Faversham open after 2300hr, it closes at 0000 and that about all you can say for it really, had a dj on on the saturday night we visited and mainly sells lager or bottled beer although it had one ale on draught. beershot - 14 Apr 2015 16:51 |
Down under at the moment, but would like to wish the new owners Good Luck in their venture. Martinlikesapint - 18 Mar 2014 02:59 |
It wouldn't be my first choice, but i think the previous review is a bit hard on the place. I've found the service cheerful and friendly, and the beer OK. I do agree though about loud music; here and in too many places it's one of the curses of the modern pub, and seriously limits your choice if you can't stand it. earlydrinker - 27 Nov 2012 15:18 |
