| A beautiful, spotlessly clean, pub set in lovely countryside. Only three real ales on offer but these are always well kept. The range of other drinks and wines on offer is quite acceptable. The menu is fairly limited but the food is always outstanding! Other things which add value are that the staff are extremely pleasant, and it has a large well marked out car park. | I cycled out here last Summer and it was well worth the treck, very friendly staff and locals, a little bit foody, and quite up market, but they were more than happy for me to sit at the bar and enjoy 3 pints and a cheeseplate. | New landlords have taken over this pub recently and have spruced it up. Range of real ales including Wadworth 6X and Doombar and Westons Old Rosie cider. Tasty and good value food. cidersam - 2 May 2005 18:36 |
