| last visited 10 years ago even though only 300 yards from my house !! Heard good reports so visited Wednesday. Very pleasantly surprised, friendly family run country pub. Busy bar with people talking and nearly full restaurant, good beer and excellent food with very pleasant service. Very enjoyable evening meal, probably as good as any in recent times. I rate this pub as highly as any of the many pubs across the country I have reviewed over the years and its on my doorstep. I WILL RETURN !! mada - 1 Feb 2008 11:04 |
