A quick update for "The Rambler", still a bit rough round the edges, but, quality jukebox and now has two separate SKY boxes for endless footy fun! BEEFY71 - 25 Mar 2010 15:10 |
Bit basic used to be the Albion years ago was well rough then, has improved somewhat but think its now slipping back to its former. The only thing that's kept it going really is the location smack bang in the middle of all the carnage "down Botch" no thrills apart from the headbutt, loud music average beer & prices. steviewonder - 16 Nov 2009 17:23 |
Spent an entertaining early afternoon here last Saturday watching the locals & Newcastle fans squaring up to each other before the "friendly" game!! BEEFY71 - 27 Jul 2007 13:24 |
No real ale when I was there on 5th October. Place was virtually empty. anonymous - 7 Oct 2006 23:08 |
good pub, used to be called the albion. was likened to an 18th century gin house but it wasn't that good. the rambler now, however, is a very popular pub and well frequented on weekends. be prepared to wait a while to be served. always the sign of a good pub geofflorimer - 24 Aug 2005 21:13 |
