Decent enough pub. No real ales, the prices are reasonably as most of Bradford is and the locals seemed friendly enough, the barman was quite cheery. I did go into this pub on a Saturday just after Bradford City had kicked off at 3pm so I'm not sure what it may have been like later on. Wezzielad - 1 Dec 2016 01:58 |
Agree with Wooly2708 - been paineted on the outside recently but not been in since. The landlady is the woman who was on the recent "Make Bradford British" documentary. I went in wearing a suit after work and everyone thought I was a journalist ! Friendly lot and no bother - good if you've had a few and want an interesting chat ! whites68 - 16 Sep 2012 20:40 |
On a crawl of Bradford on 9th December it was open; one of our party, a confirmed larger drinker, dragged us into this boozer, attracted by flashing coloured lights and the sign that said Karaoke from 2pm. The interior looked as if it could be a fine historic pub with a lot of T.L.C. I didn't fancy the Tetley's Cask which I would have found tasteless after the wonderful hoppy brews at other pubs, opting for a brandy! The customers were certainly interesting folk and polite, unless you tried to knick their Karaoke spot! You'd be better going there in a group! JBGatelad - 19 Dec 2011 12:37 |

It's not such a bad place. Been a couple of times and the regulars are just salt of the earth people - the best type in my view! To be honest I can't remember if the beer was particularly good and I certainly can't remember any real ales. wooly2708 - 4 Aug 2010 23:45 |
