It's the first time in 2 years since I visited the New Inn the last time the food was very good,I took sum freinds there on Sunday the 13 th February2011 the pub is very good. The carvery food is something different ,The meat was excellent stuffing was cold and hard to cut,Yorkshire puddings was cold,,roast potatoes was a dark brown in colour with about 20% black and a problem cutting them, cauliflower in sauce rubbery and cold and the sauce there was none, new potatoes over cooked and dry, never try the peas so I don't think we will be visiting the pub unless they change the chef oh! forgot the baby carrots cold and rubbery. If thats what they call a Sunday carvery then I will find another pub Allsn - 14 Feb 2011 19:47 |
A brightly lit wannabe harvester type pub that sells fizzy beer and real home microwaved food, frequented by people wearing genuine polyester clothes and top of the range argos jewellery. My friend lost her false teeth in there and they were never seen again. It's not all doom and gloom though ,this pub could be miraculously improved a 1000%.............with a laser guided bomb. jameswoodland - 19 Jan 2009 10:02 |
I really wish that I had visited this site before visting the actual pub....... it was nothing more that a tacky overpriced place that serves food that I wouldn't feed to a stray animal. Please reconsider your options before visiting. Caroline Harvey anonymous - 30 Nov 2007 16:28 |
Went to this pub on 3rd June, many items were not available from the menu, staff messing around and more interested in drinking coffee than in serving us. Nice location but would not recommend because of the lack of atmosphere and poor quality food. Carol & Ron Winters Bath anonymous - 12 Jun 2007 19:47 |
Pub is nothing more than a boil in the bag pub. not sure what brewery, I think the dreaded Greeneking. will not be returning, food awful, manageress rude (the one with very differently coloured hair) best off sticking to McDonalds at least you know it fast food at reasonable prices not like this OVERPRICED RUBBISH. Complained about food and told well if you don't like it don't come back...... well I wont anonymous - 3 May 2007 20:08 |
