Visited again, and still the best pub in the area by a mile, staff were attentive, beers reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was fantastic, not really a food outlet but more sport than you can shake a stick at a reasonable choice of real ales with there headliners being timothy taylor and london pride plus one strong guest ale, very well kept, a real pleasure to drink there ,keep up the good work beloc - 13 Sep 2017 17:49 |
Been here many times, and it is always clean and was recently refurbished in february,it has a fabulous smoking heated smoking shelter, with not only a a very good wall heater but open log fire as well and a tv for all the sport lovers. it has 3 real ales which include two regular ales in the shape of timothy taylor landlord and fullers london pride as well as one changing ale. the service is exceptional with polite staff, and well kept ales and lagers. it also has a cask marque assuring you of real ales served with the correct taste and at the right temperature a truly wonderful free house and always a pleasure to visit.
