Had a pint in this kip last week, I stood at the bar, there was about seven in the dump, after about 5 mins I took my jacket of to expose my Tyrone GAA shirt, you could have heard a pin drop, one or two made eye contact with me but quickly turned away, after I finished my pint I put my jacket back on and as I reached the door I heard someone say in a meek voice "Dont comeback"...........Just what odds do these yellow bluenoses want?.....20/30 to one? How to die in 5 easy steps _ 1. Walk into the Linfield Bar wearing a Glasgow Celtic jersey. 2. Ask the barman to check the hurling and gaelic football results on ceefax. 3. Propose a toast to the Queen (in the Irish language) 4. Then announce that you would acually like to toast the Queen, (literally). 5. Count to 10 and run. If you make it as far as the door alive the pub must be empty. The_Inspector - 22 Aug 2006 06:51 |
Probably not the best pub to opt for if you aren't a Linfield and Rangers fan, but a lot less daunting than it looks from the outside if you happen to follow either of those teams. If you don't know who Linfield are, you ain't gonna like it here! anonymous - 20 Apr 2005 14:44 |
