We attempted to dine at this pub on saturday 18th july. Having been shown a table we were then told that the chicken, steak, tuna steak and the veggie option were no longer available as they had run out! My wife who is a veggie was offered a starter veg option as a main course, the rest of us only had one option left and that was pork medallions which we ordered. Some ten minutes later the waitress returned to advise us that the pork was no longer available. How can a pub run out of food particularly when quite a few covers were still available at 8pm! Our friends had travelled from Bromsgove to meet us there. If your Hungry Stay Away! J.Keska - 20 Jul 2009 21:28 |
Some of the rudest bar staff I have ever encountered, a real contrast to the great service in the rest of the village. This has potential to be a great pub - a beautiful setting and good drinks selection; but please, get some manners. With the other pubs in the village offering the same beers and vista, I would most certainly not go back. GoodPubFan - 7 Aug 2008 01:05 |
EXCELLENT food, although be warned, piles of it! Nice atmosphere nice village, well worth a visit. Marylou - 4 Apr 2007 11:44 |
Good restaurant, slowly moving away from being a pub in all honesty. A good selection of drinks. They are now normally open for most of the day. Spence - 25 Apr 2006 17:08 |
Quite a nice pub, with a particularly good restaurant. Definitely worth a visit, especially if you are staying at the really good hotel next door. Shuts in the afternoons though. TheGP - 29 Mar 2005 15:53 |
