Bar staff friendly enough, mostly older people but we are in Clacton. Atmosphere a bit stayed, needs redecorating very dark & drab. Went after one pint as quite depressing place discotrevor1234 - 15 Aug 2007 19:02 |
Full of Strange Folk!! Felt as if we were about to blast of into space. Strange locals make you feel very uncomfortable and got my bum pinched by a man. I am a man by the way. Very odd. anonymous - 24 Mar 2007 00:36 |
approx 300yrds from the sea front in the town centre is the carlton pub we have visited clacton three times now it is an affordable resort even when your having to get by on income support, but the carlton comes into its own for tea time meals even catering for the most alkward fussy children & possibly adults also the meals are brilliant more than ample servings and the prices were very reasonable, the staff was more than oblidging nothing was too much trouble for them the pub had a nice friendly atmosphere.we rate it fairly at 8 out of 10. very good value for money. victor p parkin - [email protected] - 25 Mar 2005 01:12 |
