A beautiful interior, with the emphasis on food.I'd come up from London and found it by chance. I had the Black Sheep Bitter, which was on fine form. Clifton is a lovely spot, with gorgeous stone buildings. Well worth a visit. Mancini - 17 Dec 2009 11:48 |
I decided to use this pub instead of dining in the hotel. The menu is well put together & the food is brilliant. There were 2 ales available, Tim Taylors Landlord & Black Sheep. Well worth that walk up a steep hill from the Holiday Inn. Even some of the passengers form on my tour coach ate here!! xh558 - 9 Dec 2008 09:44 |
This place had been recommended so I treated my disabled mother for a meal. During our visit I noticed some uneaven flooring and loose carpet, which could easily have caused an accident. The food wasn't fantastic either. anonymous - 29 Mar 2007 13:24 |
Visiting this establishment was not a pleasant experience. The food was overcooked, cold and encurred a lengthy wait. anonymous - 29 Mar 2007 13:06 |
Food & drink good but on the pricey side. Friendly staff jillbert - 4 Jan 2007 22:04 |
