Decent pub. Ok, the Sammy Smiths beer is vile but the lager is fine and inexpensive. Always had a nice beer garden out the back but this has become ab it overgrown lately. . Boroontout - 21 Jul 2010 16:06 |
has been my local this past year. the beer is quite nice and I don't care about the lask of branding. Sometimes it attracts some tossers but you will struggle to find somewhere in boro that does not. decent pub. better than the nearby yellow rose. cuttsy - 28 Feb 2006 18:05 |
I have recently moved from the town to linthorpe and it's been several years since i drank in the linny. The bar is still cool on a summers day but the lack of brand names such as Jack Danniels leave a lot to be desired - the beers cheap tho! Craig - 24 Aug 2004 14:53 |
the linny is full of talent and a mint place to go on a hot summer bank holiday its the only place to be and the 2 blonde barmaids kate and ella are mint anonymous - 8 Mar 2004 13:03 |
Very eclectic mix, old ladies, bikers, the track suit crowd, a bit of everything, like it has been for decades. Everyone from the town has mis-spent at least part of their youth here. chris - 25 Mar 2003 11:38 |
