We have a camper van and always seem to end up in Caister. We love the Old Hall Hotel - we recently celebrated our 30th Wedding anniversary on the 6th August 2010 there and had the most fantastic meal - I had Lobster Thermador which is my favourite meal and my husband had the Lemon Sole - we thoroughly recommend the restaurant and the chef/s know their stuff - and today, 23rd August we have just had another amazing meal - had Gambas prawns and sauteed potatoes and garlic pepper sauce and all its trimmings = really lovely - they have a really fantastic carvery on Sundays which is very popular and you mainly have to book in advance. The staff are so nice and there is a fitness centre attached to the hotel. The hotel rates are very reasonable and seem to be very busy. It is a fantastic place to have a special celebration - one that would not be fogotten. The staff work so hard to please you - you find that you never want to leave. luvubabe - 23 Aug 2010 17:24 |
