Had to send back the first pint we tried (Natural Blonde) it was pure vinegar, it was replaced with Pure Ubu this was also rotten and on the turn.
Landlord needs to learn how to look after cask beer, I would start with cleaning the lines properly.
Nice place, shame about the beer.

I took the family here to celebrate my Son's graduation last night and it was very disappointing.

My Dad had the cumberland sausage and mash, the sausage was completely black and he couldn't eat it. My Son and I had the Shropshire chicken with risotto, the chicken was tough and dry. The risotto was over cooked and dry with large chunks of almost raw squash, I couldn't eat it.

Such a shame, a lovely looking place in a great location but we won't be back.

I went to this pub on saturday for a dinner.
I ordered a steak and my partner ordererd a burger.
I waited 30 mins on our main meal which came out like a brick and was burned (steakand burger) i know i8 asked for my steak well done but it tasted like the pan they had cooked it on had not been cleaned okay.
I will not be returning there. I also told my mother in law who had been in during the week for meal and said the exact same about a chicken she had .

Not happy at all

A lovely pub in the countryside between Bishopbriggs and Kirkintilloch, set alongside the canal....quite a refreshingly peaceful atmosphere....had never been but passed it frequently during working hours....my wife, Maxine, and i have just returned from our first visit and have to say staff were very welcoming, the food was excellent and the general feel of the pub was one of tranquility....all in all a great place to stop for a lunch, dinner or even a sandwich, if that's all you feel up to eating! Be warned the portions are not small!!!

A decent pub, more of a food place. It occupies the No Man's Land on the Kirkintilloch Bishopbriggs badlands border. The place was trashed many years ago when it reopened and offered cut price drinks, only to find the whole of Central Scotland gagging for a cheap pint. Now it is the class establishment of East Dunbartonshire. You think I am joking?
