| Walked in the other day, spent all of three seconds taking in the scene, turned round and walked out. No real ale, couple of drunks and an out of tune singer (who was the organised entertainment, not just a punter who decided to give everyone a song). Sorry, not my kind of pub. | Wonderful friendly up market bar. Brilliant food and service. We visited one busy lunch time and the Steak and Ale Pie is to 'Die For' We had intended to stay in the town just for the day but when we discovered the self contained apartments at the Old bank we decided to stay for three nights. Thank you Richard and Manuela for making our holiday so special. Also a big hello to Megan who must be the cutest 'pub dog in the world!'
