| Always a warm welcome from this friendly family run traditional english pub. They have a good selection of well kept local ales and a fine wine selection available. The restaurant which offers very high quality at reasonable prices has an a la carte menu that varies throughout the year to accommodate the fresh local produce. The accommodation is always clean and comfortable with large twin or double bedded en suite rooms and beats local competition hands down for cost. The bar has a warm welcoming snug with an inglenook fireplace for the winter and a spacious beer garden that catches the sun all day long in the summer. I found it to be truly a jewel in the Isle when I stayed there in Summer and Winter in 2007.
