| Well a new landlord and landlady have come in Really took the bull by the horns,got back to basics from cleaning every nook and cranny to getting on top of the stock control Yeah its still a locals pub but no where near as terrifying as previous reviews The garden has been sorted out with the play area looking to be treated for the summer Slowly more people are creeping back in and its a big enough pub to chat with locals or sit back with a paper and relax Don't let the bad reviews put you off,if you don't expect gold taps and fittings and like a local pub then its a good little pub and the landlord is really trying to get the pub back on track as quickly as he can Retrosneaker - 15 Apr 2009 14:07 |
| I live locally and have been using this pub for a while, the atmosphere I found to be very friendly, and the staff are very pleasant and welcoming.
