The Cross Daggers was my penultimate pub of the day in Derbyshire, sandwiched between the Traveller's Rest in Apperknowle (my favourite pub of the visit) and the Dronfield Arms. Neither of those are listed on BITE. The Cross Daggers is situated in a village on the outskirts of Dronfield. It has a nice location and a friendly, cosy atmosphere. 4 ales were on - Tetley Bitter, Bradfield's Farmer's Blonde & Black Sheep Best Bitter & Holy Grail. blue_scrumpy - 5 Mar 2020 19:20 |
A great little pub with fantastic Real Ales on tap. Friendly service and best of all, no bandit, no pool table, no jukebox and no TV. A proper local pub where the emphasis is on good company, good conversation and good beer. Highly recomended. John Franks - 7 Feb 2005 11:10 |
