Lots of ale in this one and beers from around the world. Looks a bit posh for my liking as the food was bought out to another table on what looked like a bread board?!? The staff were friendly, the beer was decent if a bit steep but maybe this is par for the course for Blidworth? NottsHammer - 2 Aug 2014 20:18 |
Real drinkers pub this one. Usually 2 or 3 real ales on offer along with the usual lagers and smooths. All are well kept, and never yet had a bad pint there. New landlord (who used to be a regular patron) has recently taken over and is carrying on the sterling work of the previous tenant. Started serving basic pub grub and snacks. Busy main bar where the friendly locals congregate, but also has a separate eating area and a quiet snug. Occasionally shows major sporting events and sometimes has live folk/skiffle music. Good pub for a few pints, game of darts or doms and a laugh with the locals. Only snag is the lack of parking - 7 or 8 spaces. Jimbo031982 - 20 Nov 2008 15:19 |
