| Our local pub. Nice tradional pub. Could be a treasure in the heart of the village. The problem is with the present owners, the welcome is none exsistent and the bar staff, particularly an american, are positively hostile! We've perservered, going several times and sometimes being the only customers, and have actually be told that we've been keeping the onwers up as they like to close early on a monday. | A good local village pub. It was our local until we moved (although we only went every few weeks or so). The selection of ales tended not to change much, but the landlord was friendly and welcoming, and his wife cooked a small menu of excellent home-cooked food, using local meat and ingredients (pork stroganoff was especially good).
