| This used to be an excellent pub when Bill & Karen ran it, with the service focused on the locals, but also accommodating the 'nomads' who use it whilst working at the refinery. It then received a facelift upon changing hands, and has never been the same since. Whilst it may look slightly better, it now finds itself almost going for the 'wine bar' feel, putting it directly in the firing line of the 'glamour' of the Leapark and it's pretentious cretins that frequent it. Still, you are able to go in here, most times, and leave with one's limbs/teeth/jewellery still attached, which is why it's still light years ahead of such monstrosities as the Ellwyn or Bowhouse.
