A decent, friendly local with 3 well kept cask ales. No food served and off the main street, both of which keeps it quieter than most pubs in Arundel. Highly recommended.

Friendly pub in a back street. Popular with locals, and slightly off the Arundel tourist trail.
Quite old fashioned interior (in a 1970s, Artex way), but cosy nooks and crannies, and clean. Lots of board games, beer mats on the wall...that kind of thing. No problem taking in well behaved children.
3 ales on tap: two from local Sussex breweries in good condition. Not a particularly amazing range of either flavours or ABVs, but a good place to visit for the atmosphere and a decent pint. No food although take-aways welcome, and it's actually a nice change to come to a pub that's all about the drink and conversation. Small patio outside.

Friendly back street local with 3 real ales (London Pride, Arundel Gold + one other) on handpump. A proper pub.

Back street pub a short stroll from the High Street which was pub number 3 and possibly the best of the day.

Benches at the front of the pub as you enter with a small garden area at the back up a couple of small steps.

3 ales on tap, my choice was Longmans Copper Hop...which was very good.

No food served but you can bring your own, the benches out the front were full of people eating and drinking on this visit.

Excellent collection of old beer mats dotted around, some absolute gems.

Very clean toilets that are so clean they deserve a mention in this review!

All in all this is a quality pub that's well worth the short stroll from the High Street, now to the Eagle.

Doc...the prices. High, very. Its why locals go elsewhere?
