| My experience couldn't have been more different to the preceding comment. We had a very friendly welcome from the lady behind the bar, and some excellent pints of Coniston Bluebird. | Phoned in advance July 2010 to ask if they served lunches.When we arrived at 12.15 the place looked run down and in darkness. There was only 1 beer on the pumps and the barman told us that he wasn't open yet and was "cashing up". He asked us to come back in twenty minutes. We continued our walk and won't go back.This was the least hospitable place I've ever visited. | Excellent selection of local beers, notably some ideal post walk offerings from the Keswick Brewery. Really quite good food and friendly staff but could maybe do with more comfortable seating - sorry being very picky there deportivo_azul - 25 Apr 2009 00:49 |
