| A funny one, this. The pub looks very pleasant from the outside. It is a very old building, full of olde world charm and it looks as if it should be a very pleasant place to drink and have a bite to eat. The interior, however, is disappointing. It is very basic, and a little scruffy. Certainly, it doesn't live up to the promise of the building - the pub has the potential to be a very cosy and charming venue, but it needs a lot of work to get there.
