Cheap beer but "dodgy" customers ( the two things are probably related) Has been nicknamed the "pig pen" for decades, not too welcoming if you are a casual user but good for a cheap pint to start the evening. beershot - 31 May 2011 18:11 |
Best most friendly pub in the world gafan1 - 23 Mar 2009 15:42 |
This pub may not have a pool table, may not serve food BUT it cannot be beaten for a nice pint and good fun loving company and the guy who runs the karaoke is second to none. The pub caters well for smokers with a reasonable roof terrace and outdoor area which is undercover. The staff are also friendly and in general is a good environment. loveroflager - 5 Mar 2009 23:06 |
Went in the middle of a Saturday just because I'd never been before. Beer was decent enough but you get the feeling that this place was designed for 'locals', and not much else. mat_tyg - 14 Nov 2007 20:50 |
beer is nice, roof terrace is quite good but heaters never work, room for improvement. good music but could do with speakers on the roof terrace. most of the time this is a good pub but occasionally you get the usual idiots in which spoils it. anonymous - 10 Nov 2007 00:43 |
