Our 2nd unexpected stop after football and on the way back towards town. A quaint back street pub in a very residential street. 3 pumps offering Green King IPA, Sharp’s Doom Bar and Fuller’s London Pride. I opted for a bottle of Sam Adams Boston lager as I didn’t fancy any of the cask ales. The walls were adorned with film posters, old signs and various nick nacks. There’s also lots of miss matched furniture Locals oriented with very much a community feel. A decent back street that’s worth a stop and a beer in. lezford - 12 Jun 2015 14:34 |
I live round the corner so this should be my local but the beer has been poor for years so when I visited with a couple of friends last night I was delighted to find Windsor & Eton's Kohinoor (scuze spelling) on and very well kept it was too so well done danny the newish landlord for giving the pub the last ingredient it needed it already has a great garden the food's good and now excellent beer . only one downside does the rock music really need to be that loud?? worzelj - 17 May 2013 15:33 |
Quirky pub with interesting decor, service good, food so so, nothing special, but overall not a bad little place.... Will return puddacat - 18 May 2012 17:28 |
Proper backstreet local pub with decent pub food and the best beer garden in Windsor for the summer. Good relaxed atmosphere and decent buzz at the weekends. Wish there were more pubs like this. NPanitza - 27 Jun 2011 17:43 |
Nice pub shame about the member of staff who answers to Bubbles, very rude about people when she thinks they aren't looking. Local007 - 2 Jan 2011 23:59 |
