user reviews of the Waggon and Horses, Graveley

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

The main bar area is set mainly for dining.
Very busy at time of visit so did not eat.
Food choice looked good.

3 real ales at the bar, although not my ideal choice. London Pride, Doom Bar and Adnams Bitter.
Only a short stay but felt comfortable here. Hope to return soon.

Lunched here on a hot and sunny Friday late September. Very busy, but the staff were coping well. Had a baked potato which was fine and the other fare available looked OK. Had two of the three real ales available, both OK. Yes, they do have a very pleasant beer garden close by the Graveley pond.

Really good lunch pub, but get there early! gets really busy around 12:30 the baguettes are prob the best value for money on the menu! smashing beer garden that is well kept. come here every year from my home in the US.

Food generally good and good menu. Tiny bar with locals welded to the four stools, much better now the smoking ban is in force. It is best to book in advance as only a few tables.Take your camera and set with a fast shutter speed, you may get a picture of the landlord smiling! Wine is expensive.

We used to go there quite often. Its OK nice when the fires are lit in the Winter. Food is generally good can be a little hit and miss.
