Enjoyed my simple meal of a bowl of chips washed down with a pint of real ale the name of which escapes me On a very busy road so sitting outside isn’t ideal but inside is comfortable and the pub has a traditional look which make you want to stay wooser - 22 Jun 2023 23:03 |
The Crown is another Palmer's pub, on a busy roundabout at the southern edge of Bridport. 4 of their ales were on - Dorset Gold, Copper Ale, IPA & 200. Real cider was lacking. Locals seemed like a jovial bunch. Although, some of them appeared to have been there for a while. The single room was fairly large, whilst maintaining a cosy feel. blue_scrumpy - 12 Mar 2020 19:59 |
Pleasant evening spent in the garden. Very expensive though. Try Quarterdeck in the bay for a saving of £1.75 a pint. I was sure one of the bar staff had murdered my brother in 1986 but I was wrong. Hugh.Jainus - 7 Jul 2016 19:29 |
Rough pub, expensive and poorly kept beer (3.50 for Palmers Gold), did not fancy eating, I will not be revisiting. ade1021 - 4 Jul 2012 21:49 |
