popped in hoping to find some local ale as it is in the good beer guide, but the choice was Greene King Abbot & IPA, so we didn't stop reynedd - 21 Aug 2014 21:32 |
Claims to be the oldest pub in Scotland. It looks a nice little place from the outside and is located on the village green. Inside is a bit more plain. Broughton Merlin's Ale & An Teallach Beinn Bearg were the 2 ales. Friendly staff and customers. You can also try the Winnock Hotel (not listed on here), which is also on the green and dispenses real ale. blue_scrumpy - 18 Jun 2014 21:10 |
On a pretty village green, this very attractive looking pub carried a single handpump: Inveralmond: Independence on my visit. Divided into two spaces, the public bar to the left was a comfortable and sunny space. drtimthornton - 29 Aug 2008 15:17 |
