| I've been here a few times now over the past six years or so when visiting the adjacent football club. Small "traditional" boozer with TEA and London Pride on handpump. The TEA was especially well kept. Seemed busier than in the past with a nice friendly buzz. | I live in Essex, and sadly pubs like this no not exist here any more, all are large cold business like venues. The Leathern Bottle which I have visited on approx 6 occasions now is SUPERB in all aspects of an English pub, very very friendly atmosphere, great food, very snug and welcoming and locals use it for whatever reason and they all seem happy about their time there.
