| went to the litern tree some years ago to watch england get beeaten by argentina. after beckham lashed out at the argy player things became a bit tense. ten minutes before the end of the game the bouncers dragged a guy past us by the hair. not long after a bar stool was thrown. a rumour circulated to the effect that a group of argentinians (!!!) were drinking somewhere in camberley so a good sized crowd left in search. we left when at the far end a table was lifted to head height. not sure whether it was to be thrown or whether it was trying to leave. a treacherous hive of scum and villainy. | No, this is still the Litten Tree, The Staff on Park Street is now called The Sandhurst Tup, of all things! For starters it's not in Sandhurst! Only been to the Litten once, it's not bad for a town centre pub. RobMcC - 23 Dec 2005 10:41 |
