| Recently gone through a refurb, which is certainly an improvement, but I still wouldn't take time out of my life to go there. This place seems to be a magnet for the 'less desirable' members of society and it always feels as if a fight is about to break out. | Pretty good place, although very expensive and would be likely to attract more people if the prices were more reasonable. | Pretty decent place for a few drinks- its main attraction being it's round the back of the town centre, so a bit quieter for old gits like me. Now doing one or two real ales again, seems to be branching out into food more now- pizza, pasta etc. Shame they got rid of the table footy though. guinnessdan - 11 Apr 2005 15:18 |
