| Called in on a lunchtime with no one else in. Heart FM was blaring out at great volume in the main bar. National brands on the handpumps - the ubiquitous Doom Bar and Old Speckled Hen. | I understand The plough has only reopened recently. The new management have a nice job of refurbishment and although my booking for twenty for Sunday lunch was made at short notice we were well looked after. Food was good and Adnams on handpump. | This pub appears to have a new lease of life. When we visited at Easter the place was very clean and tidy with friendly staff. The beer and food were fine, but it doesn�t seem to be a drinking pub with the layout arranged predominantly for eating with a very small bar area which was very awkward to get served at if more than a couple of people were standing there.
