| Visited on Saturday for the first time in years. Enjoyed some well kept Adnams bitter and an excellent three course meal. Decor and furniture is nice and sympathetic to the building. The staff who all seem young (maybe its my age) are very friendly and helpful. Only very minor point is our waitress didn't seem to know much about some of the dishes when asked but all in all we were impressed and have already aranged to go again. gassybrew - 15 Sep 2008 12:36 |
| Had dozens of owners, all come and gone, but now owned by a local worthy and who has installed a proper chef. Ordinary pub food prepared extaordinary. You'll be pleasanty suprised at the prices too. Not open Mon/Tues and it pays to book as it's packed!!! Nice little pub with decent beer. Pretty village. Worth the trip deemac6 - 18 Jun 2007 17:06 |
