I was recommended the salutation by a so called friend who knew the " chef??? " by the way my aunt works in greggs and she has never called her self a chef and turns out better food in paper bags. I can only imagine how much skill and knowledge the chef ( use that term loosley ) has showing there ability to use a tin opener and microwave so well. Place is a bit shabby and a crash course in people skills may come in useful its always handy when you choose dealing with people as a line of work. Think next time ill give it a miss sircharles - 17 Jan 2015 00:22 |
me and my partner had a roast lunch here today, a very quiet place, not even a smile ! didnt have to wait long for our order to arrive , the meat was very tough to eat , i expected fresh vegetables but it was tinned baby carrotts , rubber broccolli , cooked from frozen potatoes (a few like rocks) nice yorkshire pudding though. why pay £6.00 per person if it isn't fresh ? howe8 - 22 Sep 2013 22:24 |
Town pub is OK but lots of room for improvement, tables small and tacky, service slow with small portions, Beer ok but little choice. Price is to high for a pub of this standard andyw1260 - 29 Nov 2011 15:58 |
They think they are a good pub I am sure but it`s over priced, smells, and the tables are small add that to the service which was slow it adds up to a very poor imitation of what it shoul be. Really could do better. andyw1260 - 16 Nov 2011 17:28 |
Popped in for a quick beer and a bite to eat before visiting the Ipswich Regent recently. The food was superb and priced to suit. The guinness was poured correctly and satisfactory. pinkymiller - 30 Sep 2009 11:56 |
