| Definatley one of the best pubs in the village - the staff are first rate and you can always see a friendly local to have a chat too - there are quite a few characters that use the place from the local DJ to Funeral Director - you can find the lot in here. | Well, I have lived in Studley for 20 years and have sampled all the local pubs at one time or another!! The Swan is a generally very good pub that boasts a skittle alley at the rear and a pleasant 'all round' bar at the front.The clientele varies from 40 somethings in the week to younger people at the weekend.Good range of beers from IPA to Boddies,lagers and normally a guest real ale that changes roughly monthly. Atmosphere is friendly,with regular quizzes and busy weekend nights,but fairly quiet early week.Overall probably the best pub in Studley for couples and groups looking for a nice drink before a meal etc. No pool tables and no 'football shirt'punters! anonymous - 5 Apr 2005 12:51 |
