| thoroughly good pub. Excellent beer and food is top notch. Recently had a refurb but pub still has an open feel to it. Very family friendly and not too many scutters in the pub. I agree with Phantomdrinker though - place does lack a little atmosphere. Perhaps they should get Russ Abbot in to sort that out pubwhore - 30 Oct 2008 18:35 |

| Took an absolute age to get a drink as they serve the people they know before they will serve you. I am only small and even if they have seen you waiting for ages, if a large burley looking character turns up then they will get served first. Not very good service.
