Yes, a loss. It was certainly a little rough around the edges and a local's pub, but came in here a few times down the years with mates to watch football and never had any bother/friendly enough. It was a just above average boozer in my view, but you have few if any places like that left in this part of town now. It is sad but this area has changed totally, and it is what Kings Cross was 10-20 years ago, not what it is now. mike_s - 3 Mar 2017 11:04 |
Another one bites the dust sold by greedy developers ,one of the last pubs in the ares . ALBEERT - 18 Dec 2016 20:28 |
A one bar pub which was full of what appeared to be locals at time of visit. Friendly atmosphere with an efficient barman. Had one real ale on at time of visit 'O'Hanlons' which to be honest I needn't have bothered with, pleasant enough pub for a quick pint on the way through to somewhere else. ridleyman - 22 Feb 2016 19:15 |
Had a Great Night here on Saturday night the barstaff remembered the round for our table so everytime we went up for a drink they just asked if we wanted the same again which was handy for me as i normally get someones drink in the round wrong, Great all round entertainer in there singing and cracking a few jokes and getting people invoved with her Banter, I will definately go back just to see Edna she was a great laugh and everyone in my crowd enjoyed their Evening. pjfosters - 17 Mar 2014 11:53 |
Dead for a Sunday afternoon which was a shame. Largish exterior fools as it is not that large inside. Ornate, one-roomed London boozer with large mirrors and dark wood. What struck me was how bright, clean and neat it was - all the bottles in the fridge were front-faced for example. One real ale - Bombardier - which was good. Barmaid not that engaging, but this is London, so no qualms there. I liked it. Komakino - 9 Feb 2014 12:08 |
