Went there with some friends in October 2010 - not happily as two previous visits for a pint hadn't gone well (idle/ignorant staff mainly) - and tried the food. I will not repeat it. The meat was cooked to a frazzle and two of us had to send back steak and chicken. Also amazed at how small the potions were. This place has been hyped. He has the local CAMRA guys in his pocket - probably for PC reasons. Don't fall for it. Tancred - 24 Nov 2010 10:59 |
Great, been twice. Beer is excellent - and the food is good. The entrance is not particularly promising. Don't let that put you off - nice garden, good pub. Recommended. Try the goat curry...and Three Tuns' Old Scrooge...both dangerously tasty! thebishofbeer - 27 Jul 2010 21:50 |
After 2 years sub. Feeny's days ( between Terry Feeny and now, a disaster!) we went back and pleasantly surprised. Run by Lorenzo, good natured, big Jamaican? offerng Caribbean food and decent real ale. We're going back. Look out for Monty the pub cat, still think Lorenzo has designs on Monty for a curry! Highly recommended. ebateman - 20 Jan 2008 14:40 |
